Optimizing Optimism
Today was an interesting day.
I skipped 2 out of 3 of my classes, for perfectly legitimate reasons. I had physics advising, and in place of Gates' class, I journeyed about a mile out of my way to try a new place for lunch.
I caught my friends on their way to work for their research group, and ended up getting a spontaneous interview to work there. So I'll probably be doing theoretical plasma physics by the end of the week. For pay.
On the way back from that, I ran into the juggling club, and spent the 2 hours before generics rehearsal learning how to unicycle. I also did some knife juggling and the like. Unicycling is hard, but I definitely showed major improvement.
Then I went to generics, and now I have a paper to write for Gates' class that's due tomorrow. And he's not even going to be there. Bleh.
