i think i walked past a movie shoot this morning, but i didn't recognize the actors so it probably wasn't anything big. there was a crew with all these cameras and lights set up on blackstone st. and two actors gesturing and...acting in the midst of it all. and there was an older sports car parked behind them. weird.
the semester is sooo close to being over but not just yet. today's my presentation in survey research and my last writing class when i hand in my portfolio. the presentation will be interesting especially since only three of us have really worked on the project...the fourth girl has disappeared and not contacted us/been able to be contacted...so if she actually shows up today it's going to be rather odd. then there's still a consumer behavior paper to be finished and three exams--civil rights, survey research and consumer behavior all next week, all in a row. but, at least (i think) i'm getting monday off because of emerson's silly "thursday on a monday" schedule. then i'm staying in boston an extra few days to get in my last day of work (it's useless to try to get coverage because i figure everyone's going to be pretty much gone then...and hell, i like money) so i can just chill out. i think i'm coming home the 20th or maybe early on the 21st. depends on my dad's schedule now.
speaking of family, my brother got named the captain of boys cross country and is the cross country mvp this season. go matt! he's actually starting to create a social life for himself, it's amazing. he was always so quiet...probably because i was always the talkative one (can you imagine any situation where i, nicole, am "the talkative one"?!). the only problem is the little rat drives everywhere all the time and won't share the car. but my dad's thinking about getting another car now (the passat is no more :( ) that we (my dad and i) will share as we're home less often than the other two who need cars. probably a used car...i'm pushing for a cutesy little volkswagon. i love my nazi cars.
that's it.

none.

money/time.
7. what date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

hopefully my grades from this semester. i think i did really well.

"trying-to-be-preppy,-more-stylish-and-older"?

john.
35. which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
jude law. maybe it's more of a pity thing for his characters though.
36. what political issue stirred you the most?
outwardly, the war, probably. personally, education reform (or lack thereof). i don't know why i don't bring it up in conversation more often but disregard for giving kids a proper education in this country really pisses me off.
37. who did you miss?
everyone from home: caren, ann, mike, will, liz, tom, joe, jared.
38. who was the best new person you met?
i think meeting uncle ed's daughter was pretty funny because anything that involves uncle ed is automatically great.

if you give people enough time, eventually, they get it. unless they're idiots.
40. quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
"bye-bye self-respect
i haven't had much of it since you left"
