blah dee blah blah
so i was watching the DNC last night and i have to admit if i wasn't already voting for john kerry, i'd be converted after the speech last night. realistically, he made some pretty sweeping statements about what he'd like to accomplish in the white house. but then again, clinton did too, and he did a great job mopping up the mess of Bush the Older, so i'm willing to wait and see. plus i was impressed he didn't bite his lip to point out some serious deficiencies with the current, hey let's say it its such a popular word right now...regime. kerry/edwards have a strong opposition, and a sturdy platform to stand on. i'm all for it. if you haven't registered to vote, let me know and i will personally deliver you a registration card. this election is so very important, i've practically become an activist overnight. i also love theresa heinz-kerry. she's outspoken, and she's SMART. she has no problem letting her opinions be known, and she refuses to accept the 'politician's wife' label. i'm smitten. she's a ketchup-heir after my own heart.
anyway, in NON political news, i've jumped on the bandwagon to save a party this weekend. my best friend is on a local rugby team and apparently they've fallen victim to bad Beer Bash planning. so in we swoop! plus i get to party all night saturday with a few rugby teams. god is good.
