For some reason I'm thinking John next to chip-less Cameron in the S2 finale for LONELY? Or, Cameron watching the bird fly off in... I can't remember if it's Ourselves Alone or the ep after that. She says "Goodbye bird, there's a 51% chance I wouldn't have killed you."
GRATEFUL could be Cameron looking at John when he's fixing/just fixed her in Ourselves Alone.
Someone else mentioned John handing Cameron the gun at the end of 2x1 when he's not sure she's fixed yet for OPTIMISTIC. I like that idea, if it's workable.
Cameron looking at the greasy diner food in Alison From Palmdale for NAUSEATED. Or John looking at the dead bird in Ourselves Alone (apparently that episode stuck with me).
I need to rewatch some other episodes, though right now I only have Season 2 with me so I'm limited to that. I think SILLY can only come from the pilot or from Allison from Palmdale, unless you use the "middle of the house" scene from Mousetrap that someone else suggested. Or in that case, any bizarre thing that Cameron does that makes everyone stare at her. *laughs* GIGGLY... Someone suggested the scene from what (they think and I don't know better) is What He Beheld with John and Derek in the car while Cam and Sarah are in the internet cafe. Derek makes John laugh, and that could be JUBILENT. I think. Giggly, again I think you're looking at 1x1 or Allison from Palmdale really.
Actually, for CRAZY you could use the scene from 2x1 where we see through Cameron's eyes as she looks at John and comes up with 'Terminate'. It's very show-specific kind of 'crazy', but it could work.
RESTLESS could be John waking up in Born to Run with Cameron sitting over him watching him sleep. Or you *could* use that for GROGGY. That split-second confused freak out is the closest John gets to groggy I think. In that case RESTLESS could be Cameron in the library at night maybe?
BUSY could be John screwing panels into the broken window near the end of 2x7
RECUMBANT could be John lying on the bed on his own in 2x8, pillowing his head on his arms just before or just after Cameron's lying beside him.
The only expression I can think of for SATISFIED is in 2x9, about 19 minutes in or so, Cameron says "we're not built to be cruel" John replies "yeah, that's one for cyborgs" and she just says "yes" and gets this little smile. It's one of the few times she isn't called a cyborg or machine as an insult, and it looks like kind of a pleased/satisfied type expression to me.
IMPRESSED could be 2x11 (Self Made Man) where Cameron figures out why the T-888 was looking up at the sky. She goes outside at about 32 minutes in and looks up at the stars and the camera pans out a bit. I know it's her figuring things out, but she looks kind of impressed, and looking up at the stars is always good for giving that impression.
