I have to get rid of my cat
I smelled pee in the upstairs yesterday, and upon investigating the basement, sure enough I found a rather large spot that Abrasax had peed on. I'm just SO frustrated. He's been good since the move, there are no other cat smells in this apartment, no cats that he's not familiar with, and he's got clean litter (I have a litter robot that cleans it every time they use it) and a lot of space down there to run around, so WHY IS HE PEEING???!!!! And unfortunately with the oldness and the draftiness of this place, the smell travelled RIGHT upstairs to the rest of the house.
I just can't do this again. I can't live in another pee-covered house where people don't feel good coming over because of the smell. I love living in this house too much, and I can't let it be ruined.
So if anybody knows of anything more humane than throwing a 15 year old, de-clawed cat out on the street in the middle of campus, please let me know.
