Banning The Skeptics
There have been many skeptics and refusniks who have been banned, or ousted from their jobs, over the course of these last few years. And, what started with banning Alex Jones has ended in rabid conspiracies to Ban Joe Rogan, other talkers, and even parents. Now, we have a former president being virtually banned from running again, because of countless slap suits and illegal investigations. Many of the people being banned are simply people skeptical of mandatory vaccinations, or of the supposed science behind the vaccines, or of the efficacy of masks, or of the probable lab origin of the COVID virus, or of the legitimacy of elections, of false economic claims, and so forth. If someone questions authority, they are called conspiracy theorists, and hounded by the FBI and/or the IRS. This has been an organised mass-movement not only against skeptics, but against critical thought, itself. Many intimidated people simply step back in fear, and agree to go along, to get along. The alternative is being made to appear devastating. Here's one skeptic who was banned, but fought back:

Twitter "permanently suspended" former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson for violating the platform's COVID-19 misinformation guidelines. In his final tweet, Berenson slammed vaccine COVID-19 mandates as "insanity."
"It doesn't stop infection. Or transmission. Don't think of it as a vaccine. Think of it - at best - as a therapeutic with a limited window of efficacy and terrible side effect profile that must be dosed IN ADVANCE OF ILLNESS. And we want to mandate it? Insanity," Berenson tweeted.
A Twitter spokesperson told NBC News that Berenson's account was "permanently suspended for repeated violations of our COVID-19 misinformation rules."
