Instead of Packing, I am Writing
I have considered starting a blogspot. It seems like a lot of people are on there. I have a lot of memories on here though. Thoughts?
I can't change the fact that I haven't written on here in a good six or more months, so I won't try to make up for lost time. I'll just talk about what's been going on recently.
I recently got a job in DC with a small company. It is as an Executive Assistant, a step up from what I'm doing now. I will have to see where it leads. Chances are that in a year I'll be on trying to figure out another job. The great thing, as I have mentioned, is that it is back in DC. I haven't managed to track down an apartment quite yet. I have come to the realization that I will have to live with my parents for a little until I can find a place. I give myself a deadline of 1 month. I just don't want to compromise. I did that with my apartment here and I don't want to do that again. I will find one in Old Town Alexandria for less than $1000 or I will find a great roommate and go from there.
So, I am currently in Charleston (just back this evening) and mentally fortifying myself to start some packing. My parents are driving down on Friday and then we'll pack a U-Haul up on Saturday morning and drive back to DC, where I will store everything in a storage unit until the light of God shines on me and I find the perfect apartment.
