Oy but it's been a looooong time since I've updated. The main reason is that I'm already goofing off online way too much at work, and I wouldn't get anything done if I was on LJ often.
So, the reason I'm updating is because of some exciting news. To all those female readers out there (what, 3 of you?) I'm officially off the hunka hunk of burning love market forever :) I proposed to Jen on Tuesday and she quite happily accepted! Yay! Her ring has diamonds from Canada that 1) don't support the De Beers monopoly, and 2) are not mined in subhuman conditions then sold to support guerilla wars. Plus, it's gorgeous and sparkly and wonderful :) The wedding will prolly be around spring break time, here in Dallas. A small wedding, 30 people or so, but at least a little bit formal. Haven't decided on the honeymoon yet, but we're talking about maybe Estes Park (where we did Valentine's last year), or maybe a national redwood park in Washington or Oregon, or maybe the Grand Canyon. Any other suggestions?
