Been a long time . . .
Well, kids,
I have some news. One of my regulars, a real nice guy who I trust immensely, is setting me up with his friend. We will meet for the first time on Saturday at about 6:30 pm. He's bringing him up to Ho-day to meet me and both parties involved are excited. Tom, the regular is a nice guy and he's known Larry, the man he's setting me up with for close to 20 years. What I know about Larry . . .he's 35. . .I know ten years older, but that's been my taste as of late. He's looking to get a social life because he's been a little bit of a workaholic. He works in the insurance business, never been married, lives in a townhouse in Bloomington, and is well off. His father was a judge. Tom also says that he resembles Paul Magers . . .which I do not mind at all! The only negative so far is that he's a staunch Republican but I can work with that . . .I like discussing politics. As long as we agree to disagree, that's quite all right. I'm really excited . . .I hope it goes well Saturday so there's a real first date somewhere in the future. I told Tom that I don't drive and he told me Larry was willing to go wherever for someone . . .so cool!! I know mama bear Sarah will be on full alert but I don't mind taking the risk . . .ya gotta live sometime, right?
