This is pretty much how I see the floor plan when I write it, although, I think that the bedroom is directly off the kitchen, and the bathroom is linked to Sherlock's room, and the landing. And that yes, there is John's room, and a proper master bathroom of sorts (which means that there is enough room for maybe a whole adult to actually breathe in) off of John's room.
Hm. Give me a few, I will make the changes as I see them, to your map, just to show what I mean :)
Only problem is, that we can see this bit in the show and it's an empty sort-of hallway with one yellow door at the side. I cannot tell if there are any other doors to it.
But, we could expand the empty hallway thing back(downwards) and add your two rooms and make Sherlock's bedroom bigger. So that a kingsize bed fits into it!!! :D
Hmmm. Where do we see that empty hall with the yellow door? I need to see it to understand.
As you know, loos and additional shower rooms in English houses can be positively tiny and it's often pantries were converted in to them. Which is why I was thinking either a pantry and/or a wc.
Mmmmhh. I think the best scene to see it is the one where Sherlock fights the mummy. Or when John finds the head in the fridge - shortly at the beginning. And I think right at the beginning, when they look at the flat.
Yes, I have seen some teeny, tiny bathrooms in some houses. It is very much possible that there is a tiny bathroom and a bedroom back there, considering that I have seen teeny tiny bedrooms as well. ;)
