Feeling in the mood to start considering another character. Some input would be nice here and suggestions for communities also.
Yuki Nagato, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
-Pros: I think I'm ready to give her another shot. I went back through and read all the journal entries I'd made with her for Mayfield and thought about what I'd need to get her more in-character. With a new Haruhi now at Mayfield, the possibility of getting the whole SOS Brigade is there, and of course, there's an awesome Ryoko. Someone also mentioned Netherworld, which is also a possibility, but less likely.
-Cons: I have this nagging thought that I would once more start to think I was doing a horrible job and just drop again. In addition, Ryoko and Kyon have this thing going now and throwing Yuki in there would be slightly disruptive to the muns.
Flonne, Disgaea
-Pros: Flonne is the most adorable character ever, and though Takeru edges in that direction at times, I really haven't played anyone who's just out and out nice to the point of diabetes like Flonne. In addition, I need more experience with female characters - The femininity of Yuki and Bow is pretty much negligible. There's an awesome Etna and Laharl at Netherworld already and they've apparently needed a Flonne for a while.
-Cons: Just started at Netherworld. Don't know if it'd be a good idea to throw another char in so soon. In addition, it's possible that someone else who's a much closer friend of Etna and Laharl-mun would app Flonne. This person also happens to pretty much be Flonne in human form.
Rosa, Final Fantasy IV
-Pros: If Kain and Cecil come through as promised, I can actually get a romance plot in. Why do I always end up playing the gal whenever love is concerned? Anyway, Rosa is pretty much exactly like Flonne, except less interesting, but as others have pointed out, AU is AU. It would actually provide a chance for me to expand her character the way I wanted. Rosa would definitely go towards Kingdoms if I apped her anywhere.
-Cons: Admittedly, Rosa is boring. Rosa is also definitely not a fighter, so she'd stay pretty much in the background in Kingdoms as the whole point is about fighting.
Levin/Tiltyu/Lachesis/Fury, Fire Emblem IV: Seisen no Keifu
-Pros: Alright. There are different pros for each character, but the main pro is that I've wanted to play an FEIV character for ages and the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of one at Kingdoms. Mayfield has also crossed my mind -- Wouldn't it be grand to get a Pegasus Knight flying around? Pros for Levin and Tiltyu are that their personalities are great. It'd be real fun to play the two of them. Fury I could definitely do, but she'd be somewhat stale after a bit, and Lachesis I'd need some canon review to manage.
-Cons: I'd really prefer to play Levin or Tiltyu at Kingdoms, but I've already got a mage there and magic is supposed to be limited in that setting. Lachesis and Fury were back-up ideas, but I don't think Pegasi would be allowed, which messes up Fury, and Lachesis . . . I really don't know if I'd want to play a Lachesis without an Eltosian. Also, no canonmates ever because no one else cares about this game. Except Geoff's friend. And Chris.
Nazrin/Kogasa, Touhou: UFO
-Pros: This idea came totally out of left field. But it seems like everyone just loves Touhou so much and I thought it might be interesting to try and join in on the fun. I've had this weird obsession with kasa-obake for the longest time and the fact that Kogasa even exists makes me incredibly happy. As for Nazrin . . . her special ability is to find hidden treasure. I could work with that.
-Cons: They get like 10 lines total. Kogasa's personality shines through pretty strongly, though -- She's bored, she's lonely, she wants someone to entertain her. And she wishes people would actually be scared of her. Unfortunately, this is exactly like Bow except toned down. If only her personality was different, I'd app her at Netherworld in a heartbeat. As for Nazrin, I don't get much of a sense of her except that she likes treasure and that she's a bit vicious.
