Diary: Week of 07/01: Rack, Dungeon, stuff

I took Monday off as I needed to make use of the local GUM clinic, so after I had strange things done to my private parts I bugged Fraggleonspeed to come down to town to keep me company on my day off :o)

After wandering around a bit, and Fraggleonspeed's ravenous insistance that we buy cornettos, we ended up at the cinema.

Noticing that St. Trinians had Russell Brand in it we went for that. Was okay-ish, but a lot of the humour was rather low-brow, and the entire thing seemed far too aimed at a lower-working class audience for my tastes... :o/

And then back to work on Tuesday :o/

Just to keep in routine I made sure to stay up later than I ought to watching DVDs the nights before work :o) I have now finished the third season of Battlestar Gallatica and the 'Razor' film :o)

Both are very good, and anybody who has any nostalgia for the original series ought to see Razor. It has (very slight spoilers) flashbacks and similar that show images of the original Cylon models (which are based on the original Cylons from the original series :o)

Friday I went up to The Rack with angryangeltoo, _phoenixrising, hallicuphy and mudgetheotter :o)

Same venue as Dr. Fells. I was dubious at first as when we walked in not too many people had arrived and there were some very chavy drunks about (who really ought not have ever been let in). Fortunately the chavs seemed to disappear at some point and the place soon filled up :o)

Saturday I was down Dungeon with Caroline and some Rocksoc people, which was fun :o) Music was a little better than normal Dungeon music too :o)

Sunday was back to my usual style of lazing about. Probably slept far too long into the day too as I need to get sleep tonight so I can get up for work in the morning :o/
