Yay :o)
Diary: Week of 12/11: Job, Dungeon, Dr. Fell's
So, was signing back on at the Job Centre this Monday, which had a distinct lack of interesting jobs listed on their machines.
Fortunately, come Thursday Hays Agency rang me back to confirm that all they needed now was for me to sign a form that they had forgotten and for the Job Centre to get back to them and confirm that I wasn't telling lies about how much I'd signed on for :oD
Then I'll have some kind of Data Administration role at the Royal Bank of Scotland. It may not be much of a job and may not pay spectacularly loads but it gets me working and will make my CV look tons better :o) Fantastic :o)
Wednesday at Dungeon with thepussykat and littlecyberalex was very good as well *nods*
Now, I've gotten quite used to the occasional male thinking I'm female. I'm even used to the odd male seeing me with a female partner and assuming we are lesbians and trying to chat us up. On Wednesday I experienced something entirely new when a lesbian mistook me for female and tried to chat me up (which admittedly is, at least, preferable!)
My first clue was when she joined the three of us on our table (presumably in an urge to pull) and asked how many of us were lesbians, despite there only being one woman on the table. Presumably in some effort to try to make the question seem less silly littlecyberalex quickly announced that he was a lesbian *nods* :o)
Apparently I wasn't as receptive to her advances as she'd have liked because she decided that I was obviously straight (in addition to being female), but to be fair that's less because she wasn't cute but more because I'm not going to be over someone before they've spent a moment to speak to me :oP
She seemed a bit miffed when I told her I was male, but is all okay because she managed to pull later on when I spotted her with her toungue down some unknown girl's throat :o)
It seemed to be a night for me getting kinda close to pulling and not when I wound up dancing with a girl on the dancefloor, who was also rather cute, only for her to confess to me that she 'had a boyfriend'. 'Great!' thinks I before saying 'That's okay, I have a girlfriend!', but alas the statistically probably happened and I think I can assume she meant a monogamous relationship with a boyfriend, hence it never went further than flirtatious dancing :oP
Saturday SweetCyanide came to visit me and we went up to thepussykat's to get a lift up to Dr. Fell's along with GirGoesCrazy, rosenkavalier and Jackie (whilst _phoenixrising, angryangeltoo, Elegy_of_Flames and lil_ravenfire headed up separately in time to send me a confused phone call before we'd even set off about what time it opened) :oP
In any case, Dr. Fell's was good *nods*. Shame it's the last one really, but Invocation is also good and on the same time of the month so it's not all that bad :o)

Sunday was spent mostly being lazy :o)
