going home

So I leave for my sister's place today straight from work (well actually I'm gonna duck off early 'cause f*ck it!) & then I spend Saturday & part of Sunday at her place (with her boyfriend & his brother) then we get to drive approx 2000kms (well she'll be driving 'cause I'm still not allowed - I've got a license people *rolls eyes*) up to the parental abode where I'll spend the better part of next week catching up with extended family; embarassing myself in front of a financial advisor & general dying slowly of heat exhaustion *pulls face* I'll be flying back into Brisneyland on 21st of Oct & as excited as I am to have a week off work -- I'm also kinda freaked! This is the biggest chunk of time I've taken off since coming to work with FF *chews lip* I know I need the break especially after the last 17 months but *shrugs* I feel kinda weird about it... I think it 'cause I'm going to the parental abode & I really should be spending the week packing & cleaning so I'll be already to move house on the 26th & 27th. Hopefully the week I get back will be nice & cruisy & i'll be able to do a few hours each day after work & have everything all sorted *crosses fingers*
