its been a bad day..............
let me get all the negative shitty stuff out of the way... its reading week and i have had to sit two exams last couple of days.. mondays was awful... today's wasn't soo bad.. i tried my best so thats the main thing... around 11am i started getting pains in my knee... the same one ive had countless operations on.. after about an hour i developed severe bruising around the bottom of this knee.. then i had a feel (as u do) and i could feel the head of the screw just under my skin... i am no expert but this screw had somehow came undone from my patella and started rising to the surface everytime i moved my joint... as it got to the surface my skin it caused the bruising... i was concerned because if the screw pierced my skin and became visable it might then come unattached from the graft which was delicately placed there during my operation, if that happened then my knee would collapse and give way and id be back right back to square one... anyway i spent the whole afternoon in the hospital having xrays, giving blood etc only to be told by the doctor that the screw looked in place to him... i was like what the fuck... i had the operation in May, i have never been able to feel the screw head if i felt my knee, i have never had bruising either this time or the previous two times.. he tried telling me it looked intact.. i TOLD him it had moved anmd was continuing to rise up and throughout my knee... there is no way of telling if the screw has moved or not from an xray... all it takes is a couple of millimetres.. anyway.. im on painkillers, im trying to rest my knee and not move it as much as i can.. ive got to see the surgeon on friday morning at his clinic... lets hope the screw doesnt come out/undone by then:l to cheer myself up i went and got an haircut... its probably the shortest ive had it in years... i like it.. i bought some dye and added some blonde highlights to the tips... looks like i belong in some boy band or summut! i am looking forward to tomorrow night... im goin to the cinema:)
