so, I spent like the last 30 minutes rolling around outside in the dirt and mud. I was trying out/practicing breakfalling for jitsu, b/c we haven't done it much in the sessions and I want to get better at it. I really need to work on the backwards breakfall but I did manage to get the sideways break falls from standing (not too hard really). For the life of me though, I couldn't even get myself to attempt standing forward break fall. I couldn't even get myself to do a 270, which I used to do all the time when I was in MS/early HS. I almost got a sorta forward flip though (b/c I kept landing on my feet-ish.) That's when I think I pulled something in my leg, nothing too bad, but enough that it convinced me to go in without finally getting myself to do the standing forward roll (which I used to be able to do). Darn this phobia of falling. Ok, now I need to take a shower and hope that I can still get some dinner, if not I'll have to cook.
