I'm sure there's something I could be doing...
OK, so I don't really have much of an update. We had a mini (2pg) paper due today for sem. It is due by noon today, and I think I did it in about an hour this morning. It should have taken me less time, and it should have been better than it was, but since those two (in my world) seem to go together, it's a bit understandable. anyway, my paper is crap; I'm glad we're not getting grades on them. I wasn't specific enough and just couldn't think of how to say what it is I meant to say. Again, glad there won't be a grade.
Ok, so two people from jitsu and then the friend of one of them are supposed to/planning on coming to the Halloween party on Saturday night. I still have no idea what I'm going to dress up as. (As an aside: It greatly amuses me that when we say "dress in costume" they say "fancy dress".) I don't really have anything to dress up with. I could possibly do a gypsy-like thing. I have a flowy skirt and a couple of kurtas with sequins...and a glittery dark red scarf that I could use as like a hip scarf...but I only have one...and I don't know how to put a gypsy costume together. Does anyone have ANY ideas about what I can dress up as? (and I if I hear another suggestion of toga, I just might have to hurt someone. I might consider a stola, but I'd have to be bothered to wash my sheets for that. lol )
So, going to lunch in an hour...then class for two, then dunno what will be the next two hours, then dinner and jitsu followed by pub. Oh, and I am apparently on strict orders to commence Operation Flirt immediately. lol *sigh* Who knows?
