I had an awesome weekend. 
It was my birthday, and we went to the North Newton Beer Festival down where Raun's parents live. 
fatkraken was talked into doing a yard of ale, only not liking beer she did a yard of cider.  The cider was pretty strong, so she ended up merrily sloshed, but to her credit she drank it all without spilling any and without barfing ( Read more... )

I made a jellyfish for Gill's birthday.  By rights it should have been three, but if I'd had to make two more I'd have cried.  It turned out much harder than it was marked as in the book, but my only consolation is that the good folks on Ravelry ( Read more... )

My parents came down to visit for the weekend. 
They came bearing birthday presents, plants and - as usual - much, much food.

So now I have a shiny shiny 1TB hard drive.  I've never had anything measured in terabytes before, so this is pretty exciting*.  It means I can stick all my photos together in one place and not keep having to burn them to ( Read more... )
