Yeah, basically a bad start because we were all worn out and soaked through putting up guild tents (I still don't understand why even if they expected players to put up all the tents, the Powers That Be couldn't have brought all the bits for them in time. We had the frames for about 6 tents, the panels for 2, and not a single elastic-toggle thing until 2 hours before time-in, therefore we missed time in on account of putting up guild tents. I know Maelstrom is much smaller than the LT mains, but I really wish LT were more like PD at times. Therefore I missed time in, and then a few hours more as I accidentally fell asleep back in my tent. )
Matters not improved by the OOC tent-self destructing, meaning I missed a fair chunk of Saturday.
After that, things got better, and there event wasn't too bad as a whole, but not outstandingly brilliant. Glad to be home in the dry, with walls which keep the wind out.
