Creepy Monkey

As some of you may know, I belong to a community called thrifthorror dedicated to the disturbing things you get in second-hand shops. Recently I really haven't found much to post. I've wandered around our local charity shops and car boot sales, and while I've found lots of good bargains, I haven't found anything truly horrific in aaages. Yes, a bit tasteless; ( Read more... )

You know that thing people do with their adorable soft toys? Where they take their cute plush to places and take photos? You should do the same, only making sure to get the horrified looks of the tourists in the shot too.

Barney says: "Have you ever considered that most plush toys are only flame resistant rather than flame proof? You should test that."

Actually he feels like he's filled with polystyrene, which Wikipedia tells me caused the Channel Tunnel fire and a fire at Browns Ferry nuclear power plant. Thanks Wikipedia.
So anyway, I'm not sure even *flame-resistant* comes into it...

Well, if you ever need to assassinate both Creepy Monkey AND someone else, you could always set CM on fire and push said into the house of your victim. On a wheelbarrow. Then, and this is the important bit, do the bit from The Princess Bride only it's not the Dread Pirate Roberts that's come for their souls, it's Creepy Monkey.

He is both horrifying and adorable. He's a bit big to take places, but i do think taking him into work and planting him in a chair to work is a cunning plan.

You should try pretending he isnt there, and seeing how long it takes people to bring up the giant luminous green monkey in the room

We tried that on Griff. And then he started pretending it wasn't there.
And I couldn't cope with the mind games.

You could look for random unlocked cars and leave him in the driver's seat ;)
(with a creepy note about a curse or something)
