Mmm... procrastination
Uh. I'm knackered. I had so much to do, and I didn't start doing it until about 11pm. Oops.
On the bright side, I am now the proud possessor of some rail tickets. Apparently the secret password to extract them from the machine wasn't the great big reference number appearing in the middle of the email in large font on its own line - it was the number which only appeared in the subject line. Thanks guys. I had to go home and do Google-fu after the first one didn't work. I'm so glad I wasn't in a hurry to get my train.
Also, the rail strike threatened for Friday seems to have been called off, meaning there's no threat of me having to drive solo across the country. Yay for long train journeys with their attendant opportunities of reading or knitting and generally stuff not possible while driving.
I baked spiced flapjacks and oat and cranberry cookies for the hen night. I was going to bake muffins, but I lost motivation. I may make some tomorrow.
I'm now scanning more of the family photos. I'm definitely quite far through the first album, though of course there is the second one to follow.
