If anyone in the Twin Cities area happened to see the news today, I was most likely on it. Starting about 12:15pm, my office building in Roseville, MN was surrounded by SWAT and various local police departments. Yep, my building went into lock down because there was an armed man on the first floor with potential hostages. Of course, we knew absolutely nothing. We barricaded the doors (the elevator was fortunately down for renovations) and kept looking out the windows at the various snipers and armed law enforcement officers. We were finally evacuated approximately 2:30pm and sent over to the Sports Authority next door. We were released back into the building around 4pm. Of course, we all left work for the day. Nobody was injured, everyone is fine. I am just totally freaked out and still mildly shaking.
