Today was Black Solidarity Day. So I was all sexy in my black outfit.
I dont have pictures because like the dork i am i realized a lil to late the batteries were dead. But they hired a photographer so he promised to email them to me in a few days. YAY!
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!
CEDZA MANDELA was our guest speaker (Nelson Mandela's grandson)
We had a discussion on pan-africanism and bringing those ideologies to the US. We also talked about educating the Black population in America to break the barriers that divide the black community.
It was an excellent presentation and I was proud to be present.
It was great but depressing at the same time to be reminded that as a people we have SO much power economically but we have not utilized it....OK I KNOW IM BORING YOU SOOO...
Also had my last midterm tonight. I did well. At least a B.
Talked to my professor after class about the 100 black women role model program and she advised me to sign up.........soooo I am gonna get my recommendations together and get it out.
One paper left to do and I am happy for the next 2 weeks.
