My journal is called _____ because _____.
I've called my journal "Thoroughly Unprofessional" because, well, I am, since I insist on playing with my LJ at work when I should probably be filing or typing something.
My friends page is called _____ because _____.
"Snazzy", because it is a collection of the LJs of Snazzy people. What a great word, "Snazzy". I could say it all day long. Snazzysnazzysnazzy.
My username is ____ because _____.
My username is "wiesbaden" because I was sitting there, trying to think of a username, and it was the first interesting-sounding word that popped into mind and wasn't already taken. I was born in Wiesbaden, (at the time, West) Germany in 1980 when my parents - both of them in the military - were stationed across the river in Mainz, so there is a teeny bit of personal connection there. I realize that, to anyone who's familiar with Germany, it’s kind of like naming your LJ "Cincinnati" or something, but I've kind of grown attached to it, so unless I come up with something super-awesome-fantabulous, I think I'll be sticking with this one for a while.

Kate! Katherine Hepburn has been a favorite ever since I saw "The Philadelphia Story" at like, age 9 or something (we didn’t get around to buying a VCR until then. So technologically behind the times...). So classy, so cool, and Red Hair, which is awesome, as well as (at least, in this photograph) an expression that says "Don't Fuck With Me." And then it turns out she went to my alma mater, which is too cool for words.
IN OTHER NEWS: Saw 'Finding Neverland' this weekend. Very sweet, and I've come to the conclusion that Kate Winslet is about one of the most beautiful women currently on the planet.
