[The image is dark at first, with blurry moving shapes, until it becomes apparent that small fingers are tapping on the screen and obscuring the light. The hand pulls away and a face zooms in, with large blue eyes inspecting the strange device.]

…Oh?
[The face pulls away, revealing the person on-screen to be a young boy with blond hair. He sets the PokéGear on the ground, unaware it is still recording; then kneels, and begins to pull out objects from a backpack-although he has some trouble opening it. He’s dressed strangely, in a green tunic and white leggings, and he eyes the clothes extracted from the bag with a quirked eyebrow.
After a while his eyes snap back to the PokéGear, obviously hearing something. He picks up the device again and peers intently at the screen.]
‘Hoy?
[ooc note: Link is not so good with pokétech yet and still unaware that he has his own pokémon. He's somewhere on Route 29, deciding to rough it out on his own after failing to get any helpful information from the NPCs other people.]
