LJ Braintrust :: Icon Maker?

So it begins. I need to start posting the GameX Call for Volunteers today, and I have no GameX-appropriate icon. I know many of you create your own icons. . .can one of you point me in the direction of a good icon maker that even a dummy like me can use?
