I just spet the last 4 days hiking from the Medeterranean Sea to the Kineret. (though I went on the "shomer Shabbat" one and only hiked about 70% of the way. not too shabby, though. one of the days we hiked in the opposite direction bc it was downhill instead of uphill... that was a bit disappointing ( Read more... )

you took an experience that i had, and pointed out that there are possibly better ones out there. how is that funny? i have a sense of humor, and i can tell when things are meant to cause laughter. this was not. adding "haha" at the end of a comment does not make it a joke. also, know your audience, jon.

dear lord, it WAS meant for laughter, and grow up
joke that there are prettier places than the USA, or better yet, Germany, and see if I care, I'll agree, and make another joke perhaps (or I could go into a schpiel about crazy nationalist nazis or something, and put down "my people" before anyone else)
also, take into account who's making the joke, rebecca.
