About Wide Lines and development

May 02, 2005 17:53

Wide Lines was originally submitted to lj_stylecontest in an entry here. Although this entry was not one of the top five, a recent newspost has suggested that it may be integrated as a public style at some point in the future. At this time it is still a custom style which may be used by paid users as explained here.

You are welcome to use Wide Lines on your journal. Updates may be made to the layout code; keep an eye on this community for bug fixes and new features.

You are welcome to design and post new themes for Wide Lines to this community. Please indicate in your post if you would like your submitted theme to be considered for integration with the potential public style or if you only give permission to individual users to use it.

You are welcome to design and post new user layers extending Wide Lines features to this community.

You are welcome to offer suggestions for improvements to the Wide Lines layout code to this community. Please indicate in your post if you would like your submitted code to be considered for integration with the potential public style or if you would prefer to branch the development of Wide Lines into a new custom style.

You are welcome to use elements of Wide Lines as a basis for designing a new custom style of your own. In-depth discussion of this should probably occur on lj_style, but you are encouraged to provide links here.
