>  I'm hungry!

>  Was asked if I wanted to visit little Rupert today.  Jumped at that, of course.  He's getting bigger every day, but still so stinkin' cute it's scary!  Took him for a walk around the block.  When he grabbed the leash in his mouth and started bouncing around, shaking his head, I thought I was gonna die of the cute!  Asked if he wanted to run the rest of the way, he bounced in a circle.  Took that as a yes.  :)

>  Made roast beef with roasted potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion for dinner last night.  Turned out pretty darn good, but Hubby says he prefers the stuffing to the veggies.  Fine by me!  We have stuffing left from the pork roast, so he can eat that while I scarf on the nearly calorie-free veggies.

>  Speaking of food... I'm hungry!

>  Took the bikes for a nice little cruise yesterday afternoon.  Not far, just up the back road to Junction City.  About halfway there, we caught up to a long freight train heading the same direction.  Made the ride even more fun, not only because each curve of the road brought us closer or farther from the train, but the road crosses the tracks a couple miles before town and it was a bit of a race (while obeying the speed limit, mostly) to be sure we crossed first!  Yes, we beat it with plenty of time to spare.  Turns out that the McDonald's in town is only two blocks from the tracks, so we stopped and got mochas, then sat outside and watched the train go by.

>  Still not feeling skinny like I did last week, but I weighed two pounds less today than I did on Friday, which is also half a pound less than last Monday.  Of course it's not official today.  Grr.

>  I feel like my house has been invaded.  Instead of hanging out in the shop, doing his own thing out there like usual, Hubby has decided to start a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle in the dining room.  If you've been here, or seen pictures, you know that there is not much separation between the dining and living rooms.  I'm not used to having the lights on in there... or having to listen to him call the cat, grumble about this or that, clear his throat, sigh, etc.  Right now I guess I should be glad that he has his back to me so that I don't have to feel like I'm being watched too.

>  Is it dinner time yet?  It sure feels like it should be.  I'm hungry and my tummy is starting to grumble.  Stupid time change.

>  Ok, that's it, I can't stand it anymore!  I'm gonna go heat up dinner.  Maybe that will stop both Hubby and my tummy from making noise for a while.
