Is random the same as scattered?
** Just remembered that I was supposed to finish carving my pumpkin today. Started on it last night at ladyforash's house, but only got the thing hollowed out & a face drawn on it. Still need to do the actual carving. Haven't even touched the other pumpkin yet. Guess that'll be the plan for tomorrow.
** Was feeling skinny and wanted to update my measurements on Monday, but Wayne wasn't available. Tuesday wasn't any better. Then I spend two days eating junk (popcorn, soda, Raisinettes, Arby's, etc). Today he said he wanted to do measurements but I was already working out when he saw me. He says we'll do it tomorrow. Great, but I'm not feeling skinny anymore.
** If I worked on my arms & shoulders today, why is my right knee aching?
** Hubby cleared off the dining room table so that he can do a jigsaw puzzle on it.
** Made a pork roast with a rosemary & olive oil rub for dinner tonight. Also made apple & pecan stuffing to go with it. Finally got the stuffing ready to go in the oven right about the same time that the roast was ready to come out. Oops. Let the roast rest, did some clean-up while stalling for time, but finally decided to just slice up the meat and serve it with a simple side salad. It was very tasty, not dry at all, and enough food without the stuffing. Sat for a minute after eating, then hubby asked if the stuffing was done and if we were going to have some. Sure enough, it was just getting crispy on the top, so we tried it. YUM! Hubby wants me to make it again for Thanksgiving, regardless of what else I make.
** Did you know that ladyforash needs a haircut?
** Am watching Survivor. The current 'reward' is on a big badass pirate ship. I'd be so freaking sick to my stomach... Even watching that thing rock & bob on tv is making me uncomfortable. And yet, I love rollercoasters. Go figure.
** Apparently I workout like an amazon. At least James and Jill think so. I think that's a compliment.
** Been to the movies more this week than in any year between 1989 and 2006. Saw Where The Wild Things Are on Tuesday, then we saw The Shining last night. Dude, Jack Nicholson was so young!!
** I bought caramels and apples. :)
** Going to the Oregon State vs UCLA football game on Halloween. Yay!!! It might rain, but I don't care. Go Beavs!!
** Had thought about getting a big brown afro wig and wearing a big orange O around my neck & dressing up as the crazy OSU student we always see at every game. Gonna settle for a couple temporary tattoos for the cheeks instead.
** Should have taken the bike out last week when I had the chance. Not only am I having withdrawls, but all this rain is washing away the pretty colors.
** The house still smells like food: fresh sage, thyme, apples, pork, rosemary. I'm getting hungry just sitting here and I'm still full from dinner.
** Nope, no pictures to post today. Imagine that. lol
