Wow, it's been, what, three weeks since I posted? Hasn't been much to report, I guess. Had a birthday, the MIL came up to visit, bought a bicycle, been going to the gym pretty much every day.... There, you're all caught up. :)
So, yeah, the mother-in-law was here. That was, um, interesting. Nice lady, we get along just fine, but she makes me want to scream sometimes. How the heck did I manage to live in the same house with her for twenty years? Poor Hubby, his tummy was all tied in knots the whole time she was here. He didn't figure out it was stress until the feeling eased up the same afternoon she left.
Pictures? Can you tell Hubby was stressed? Birthday: Got some cool tealight holders from hubby on the day and a surprise stadium seat, in OSU Beavers trim, just in time for the game this past weekend. Also got a sweatshirt from
ladyforash & b-day kisses from Rupert. Oh, and the MIL gave me two more training sessions with Wayne, even if she doesn't quite understand. :)
Been kinda coasting at the gym the past couple weeks. Not sure what I did, but I've been dealing with mild lower back pain and a very tight/sore left hip for a while now. Doesn't stop me from going six days a week, but I haven't felt up to any big workouts. Could have gone today and pushed a little more because my hip felt ok, but I ditched the gym for a ride.
We're expecting a fairly large, wet storm to hit tomorrow, but today was pretty darn nice: mid 70's, mostly clear skies, kinda tropical/humid feeling. So, Hubby and I took the bikes down to the Coyote Creek Bridge. We came back up Territorial Hwy, picking up another couple Harleys behind us when we stopped at the light in Veneta. They rode with us up to and round the lake until we pulled off for pictures. There were quite a few bikes out today, did lots of waving.
Great day for a ride. Ok, well, that's the long story, mostly for
clavally cuz she asked the other day. :)
