Been two weeks since Wayne did my measurements. Last time it'd been four weeks between measurements and I had mixed results - only lost one pound, gained an inch in the thigh and hip, but BMI went down by 3% overall. We made some adjustments to the weight (less) and reps (lots more) for my lower body workout, but left everything else the way it was. Today we found out if we were on the right track or not.
The results are: Down 5.5 pounds in two weeks! Yay! Lost 1 inch off my neck, 1.25 inches off my waist, and .5-.75 inches everywhere else except the calves and biceps, which stayed the same. BMI calipers weren't working, so I don't have that info this time. Feels good, though, whatever the numbers are. Other than the adjustments to weight and reps, oh and we discontinued deadlifts, the only changes have been what I eat. I stopped having a slice of pepper-jack on my lunch, and I went back to having a protein/meal bar after working out instead of a low calorie/low fat snack bar. Doesn't seem like much, does it? But it worked. I think it's the after-workout food that is making the difference. I'm sold on that 4 meals a day thing now. :)
I do not expect to continue to lose at this rate. It's high, I know. However, it feels awesome to say that this is the lightest I've been all decade. :)
