I just ate my favorite breakfast.
I take one raspberry Cottage Cheese Double and empty the cottage cheese into a bowl. I put 1/2 cup of Cracklin' Oat Bran on top, and then spoon the raspberry topping over that.
It's 5 points (3 for the CC Double and 2 for the cereal) and I pretend it's a sundae.
I know that's pathetic, but it's been working for me. :)
Cracklin Oat Bran is my favorite cereal.. even though it looks like dry dog food it tastes like oatmeal cookies. The raspberry topping tastes like the filling in a jelly doughnut, and I pretend the cottage cheese is ice cream.
I made my phone calls, and I have to pay :(
because the original trip to the ER happened in December and the follow-ups happened in January, and my deductable runs for every calendar year. Or something. There was also a trip to a nutritionist in there that's not covered by my insurance at all. (On the way back from the nutritionist, my husband stopped for Dunkin Donuts. That should tell you how much of an impact she made on his life.)
I'm $400 poorer, but oh well. Good thing I got my tax refund.
Off to the zoo!
