Last night there was a meteor shower. Kris, Pam, Josh, myself and a few others went out to Silver Lake to watch it. I hung out with them for a few minutes, but then Pam and her friend started smoking and everyone was sorta talking about nonsense. I sort of felt the moment was better than that. SO I wandered down to the lake by myself. There was a dying fire down there and no one around to claim it. Also there was one pallet left unburned. SO I laid down on the pallet and kept warm by the embers and watched the sky fall. I've maybe seen ten shooting stars before last night. I must have seen better than 200 last night. I think we missed the peak, but it was still impressive. Every one I saw I wished on, but I only made variations on three wishes. I figure that way I hedge my bets of it coming true, 66 wishes a peice. When the stars stopped falling, I threw the pallet onto the dead fire and started it anew. Then the rest came down to join me. It was a pretty good night.
