Since
this here test has fallen off my friends page, I figured I would drop some knowledge on y'all. It's biographitastic!
1. Me llamo Jarad. Most folk knew it, a few did not.
2. The Time Machine was my first gaming haunt. Not only did it reinforce my budding interest in AD&D, but it got me into playing Magic (and a plethora of other games) as well as causing the Losers to get together as a gaming force.
3. While I've probably gone to more Goldfinger shows than any others, it was not my first. That belongs to Green Day in the Dookie & Insomniac days.
4. Ender's Game was the first book that got me into reading (followed shortly thereafter by A Thief of Always), given to me by my uncle who also ran my first D&D game (played along with Pop, Bob Tanguay, & another uncle).
5. The Ford Taurus was no Camaro, but it was bitchin'.
6.
Lich - BBBB - Enchantment - You lose all life. If you gain life later in the game, instead draw one card from your library for each life. For each point of damage you suffer, you must destroy one of your cards in play. You lose if this enchantment is destroyed or if you suffer a point of damage without sending a card to the graveyard.
If one were to have two copies of Lich in play, Donate one of them to his opponent, and then destroy the donated copy said opponent will lose the game. This was the basis of my Magic deck of choice and, modified from its original glory, won me a couple Moxes (among other things).
FACT: I do not know how to play Liar's Dice.
7. Hatch, while based off my Ravenloft character Jean LaRoche, is really named Avery Wiland.
8. Fiddling around with the Golden Ratio and Fibonacci's sequence really sparked my high school love of maths. And by the way... ∫ex = ƒ(un)
9. My love of presidents extends beyond just
George Washington. In Scarred Lands I play a character strongly based on former President Lyndon B. Johnson (and is called LBJ more than the name written on the sheet). He's a diplomat, who just happens to also be huge & worships Vangal, the CE god of war & disease. He diplomacizes about as much as he intimidates.
10. To be more exact, I have somewhere between 1,400 and 1,500
Atogs. In a very early issue of The Duelist in the article "Ask Mr. Suitcase" there was a remark about having a gaming room wallpapered with Atogs (at the time it was one of the most printed cards ever). I have a fair collection of
his kin to boot (not included in the count).
11. John Crichton, ala Farscape, taught me that crackers don't matter!!
12. I still play
Kingdom of Loathing. Even have a couple feats under my belt, such as a one day ascension.
13. A surprising number of people thought that the Losers wouldn't play Magic with me - well that;s just untrue. I'm not Dan, afterall. As much as I loves it, I haven't been able to wrangle up a game of Great Dalmuti with them in years.
14. o/~ And I'll never forget the time Austin got lost in Boston 'cause it rhymed o/~
- MC Paul Barman
15. φ (phi) = (1 + √5) / 2
φ² = (1 + √5)² / 2²
= (1 + 2√5 + 5) / 4
= [4 / 4] + [(2 + 2√5) / 4]
= 1 + [(1 + √5) / 2]
= 1 + φ
16. What is true?
a) All of the below. If this were true, (b) would make (c) & (d) both true and false
b) None of the below. If this were true, then (c) would have to be true.
c) One of the above. If this were true, either (a) or (b) would have to be true which was already proved impossible
d) None of the above. Go process of elimination!
17. I was a bastard here and tricked many with "All Purpose Flour." However, for realsies I kinda like daisies. They're bright and simple, and I stick one behind my ear when I'm walkin' around (usually at Magestry).
18. Refer to #9. LBJ (the D&D character) is also referred to as The Frikkin' Bear thanks to
Wizard People, Dear Reader. If you haven't listened to that, your life is lacking.
19. Mystery Science Theater 3000: the Movie brought THE AMAZING RANDO! to the world. His nemesis, Eastman who came out of the East, is no match for his mad set constructing skillz.
20. Y'all are shitheads if you didn't just do what I said. I wasn't lying.
