"America, spread your golden wings"
I have just concluded by 3rd day of on the job training in Concierge. I enjoy it much more than the Front Desk. It's not so monotonous. I have a lot to learn still, but I am starting to feel more comfortable. I was sad to see that next week I only had 2 days scheduled because I had asked off Tuesday for my Guest Relations interview and Saturday for Julie's Bridal Shower, and they didn't schedule me Wed-Friday. I was lucky enough to pick up a Wednesday from a girl who had family in town and found a Polynesian Front Desk shift on Extra Hours Hotline. I'm working on a Thursday, and if I feel comfortable enough I will pick up a Concierge shift at Coronado Springs, but I doubt that I will feel that confident in order to do that, but we'll see!
This week's Limited Time Magic fell right in line with my Celebrate Every Day 2013 Challenge since it's a week long celebration of President's Day. I was pretty excited to hear that Voices of Liberty were doing an extended show in the American Gardens Theater. I liked the show, but it was really the 4th of July show with different narration bridging the songs together so I was disappointed but it was still a great performance as always! I am looking forward to seeing what's next!
