I feel like it's been forever since I've worked! I had my 4 days of class last week, a day off, my property orientation, and a 3 day weekend! Today is my last day before I officially start my On the Job training at the Polynesian. I'm not going to lie. I'm not really that excited, but I am working on it. I know once I get there I will get used to it and learn to love it. Right now, I feel a bit overwhelmed since I have NO experience in a hotel other than being a Banquet Waitress at Embassy Suites which was my first job. Tomorrow I'm still not even training at the Front Desk, I'm shadowing Bell Services to learn the layout of the resort. I'm hoping that that also means that I'll learn how to say the LongHouses names, because I'm not that great at speaking Hawaiian properly.

I am not heard anything on the job front, but I did get a chance to apply for the Guest Relations bench, which has been on my Disney Career Bucket List since I was a child. In fact, Duncan and I came across some 12 year old emails last night and one of them was a survey that a friend had sent back to me where they answered the questions about me and one question was "What would be a dream job for me?" and their answer was "Tour Guide at Disney World". Well, that was confirmation enough that applying for the Guest Relation bench was a good thing.

By the way, I also miss my job a DU. I'm ready to come back now. :)
