The Professional Internship Offer
Just when I had given up receiving any news today, I received a phone call from a "Blocked" number. Sure enough, it was Disney Casting. They didn't give me the offer right away, I had to answer a series of questions first and then at the end she gave me the offer. I got an offer for Operations Learning and Development, which is the training internship I wanted. She didn't know which one it was for the one at Disney University or Animal Kingdom. I didn't really care at the point, because I'd been super anxious all day hoping to get a call.
I started to call/post on Facebook and then the recruiter called me back saying that there was a special note on my file saying that there's opportunity for me to start early. I knew it was the Disney University one at that point because their intern for the semester left already and they told me that in my interview. I'm not entirely sure of the details, I told them I was interested I just wanted to go home for a couple days. I'll find out more details in the next few days!
I am BEYOND excited! This was the goal for my College Program and the entire reason I'm down here in Florida right now!
