First off : I met Trivium! Oh yes biatch, they were standing behind this barriar thing to the side of the main stage area during Megadeth and Ollie was like

So we got our photo with them, i lost my pen so i dint get an autograph but still, photos!

Friday : Wednesday 13 - Got the crowd going alright
LORDI - V. diff from what expected, i.e better!
UNDEROATH - Alright, vocals too emo
BIFFY CLYRO - Great as always, not as good as they were in feb tho
MEGADETH - Fecking amazing! Theres a reason why their legends!
INME- Much better than expected
MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE - Pretty crap but they always dissapoint me live. Gerard way just played up to the girls 'im not wearing any underwear' + 'dont ever make a guy do summit u dont want to'
I saw a bit of garbage. crap as expected
BILLY IDOL- Amazing!
Napalm Death- Only saw one song as tent was crowded, good.
walked past feeder, sound EXACTLY the same as recorded. i.e boring
Saturday : TRIVIUM - AMAZING! I was at the Barrier! Lead singer only 19 and looked amazed to be there on the main stage, thousands of ppl got up bloody early on saturday to see em, you coul see him saw 'wow' to himself it was cute and they seriously know how toplay their instruments
The DWARVES- Guitarist came on stark naked, shockk factor rubbed off after a while. They got bottled and booed. Instead of putting up devil horns everyone wiggled there little finger cos the guitarist had a small dick.
AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE - Pretty god damn bo selecta, eespecially since there guitarist died a month ago.
BOWLING FOR SOUP - Don't like there music but man can they work a crowd! Imbetween songs they started singing 'imbetween song crowd surfing' hehe.
ALTER BRIDGE - really good, alot better than creed hehe
ANTHRAX - Awesome as expected
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE - Fairly good, had there flaws
Walked past a bit of HIM, they were pretty shit so went and bought some mushrooms
VELVET REVOLVER - What can i say, slash is a legend
IN FLAMES - I now know why dan loves em so much, they were fucking amazing, i mucked up my neck from too much head banging.
BLACK SABBATH - Atmosphere was amazing, everyone was chanting ozzy so i felt sorry for the other band members, their drummer is amazing. Paranoid was great.
Sunday :
SOCIETY 1: They were good. The lead singer spent the entire 30 min set suspended from 6 meat hooks (as in there were in his back) and he was even swinging around. They showed the meat hooks being put in / pulled out which was gross, he had to be carried off stage.
MUDVAYNE- Quite dissapointing
PAPA ROACH - Really good, i was suprised, highlights was getting away with murder and last resort, okay and 'scars' even if it is quite emo.
KILLSWITCH ENGAGE - Jesus i need to see them again, Rose Of Sharyn was immense, or as my scottish friends would put it 'shit hot'
SHADOW'S FALL - Rocked many a sock
NIGHTWISH came on late due to plane being delayed the little fuckers. luckily they only played 3 dreadful dreadful songs and ffinally left the stage. them being delayed ment system ened later and i had to miss a bit! grrrrbass
SLAYER - I don't know much of there stuff but they were great.
'Mystery band' AKA FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND - Hmm, i wasnt really in the mood since id been quite happily surrounded by metal but yeah they wer quite gd.
SLIPKNOT - At first they werent very good but they did get better, and afterall they were missing the clown. Pyrotechnics were lush. JOEY JORDISONS DRUM SOLO!!!!!! Jesus fecking christ i could marry that drum solo! the drum kit spanaround and everything! And for one song Corey Taylor got everyone to kneel on thr ground and then for every1 to jump up at the same time, woop.
SYSTEM OF A DOWN - Now they are one live act. They did loads ofthings with there songs and quite often made all their songs run into each other. 'Cigaro' was immense 60,000 people shouting 'MY COCK IS MUCH BIGGER THAN YOURS!' i NEED to see them live again. I hope they recorded that show cos that would make a stunning dvd. They took a while to come on tho and when ppl get bored they either have bottle fights or get girls to flash and loads of girls were flashing to the cameras. There was this 9 yr old kid in front of me and he was gettinga right eyefull.
