Organic Chemistry = B O Ri Ng

THe first few weeks of Survey of Chemistry were easy. You had your basic stoichiometry, the compositions of certain elements and what not. Not too hard if you ask me. BUT then came chapters 9-14: ORGANIC CHEMISTRY! *shudders*. Now, im not sure how many of you have seen or been around organic chemistry (probably you pharmacy/nursing majors out there), but all this stuff looks like Spaghetti-o's to me...LITERALLY!

I came into this class expecting to kick some ass! (of course, I also went into that class thinking it was some watered down version of chemistry), but I found myself kicking as much ass as a one legged man in an ass kicking contest (WOAH! talk about redundant). I mean seriously... what does 0=Cl-OH-H=O=O have to do with 10.61.128.54? you got it... NOTHING! Of course, I brought this upon myself and now im suffering the consequences. Now some of you are probably already saying "Dude, just read the book and study once in a while. Don't worry it's doable." Wrong! I just don't have the patience for this science stuff, hence the majoring in IT part (I have more patience with computers and the people who don't know how to use them). I would have rather preferred to do JAVA programming than this crap.

This coming Monday I have a test on about 6 chapters. It is perhaps one of the biggests tests I'll be taking all semester and I only have 6 days to study for it. The last chapter I stopped at was 8 and I have to go through 9-14. So seeing as how today is Tuesday and the test is Monday, I have about 6 days including the test day to study. That means 1 chapter a day (if my extremely complicated math computation is correct...I hope). In my world it's doable, but then again, in my world a lot of random crap goes on so I'll probably end up doing 5 chapters on Sunday. But no, seriously, I plan on doing one chapter a day and passing this damn test.

That is my promise to all those procrastinators out there who look up to me. YOU HAVE MY WORD.........

...that I will try to do my best.

Until next class that I thought would be easy but isn't....
