Just One Of Those Days...
The last couple of days have been interesting yet again...both in a good and a bad way. Im not going to mention how and just leave you in suspense...you'll all soon find out what it is im talking about.
Anyways...today was a work day for me. I took Pee-dro to work with me because we thought he was suppose to start today. Turns out that when we got to my job, they told him he still hasn't show up in the system even though he had completed all the requirements needed. He decided to take off and went to FIU walking which is close to where I work by.
As I started off my day...they assigned me to work with a technician I've never worked with before. During the van ride to each site we were assigned, we talked to try to get some convo going. He told me his whole family is from Iran and so is he and that's why our boss at work calls him a "terrorist" but, in a loving way...so he says...LoL. Our boss sure is one hell of a character is all im saying. So yeah...we went around different school sites finishing up our work orders and then came back to the main office at the end of the day. As I left work, one of the Administrators told me to tell Pee-dro that he showed up in the system and that he could start work Thursday.
I took my friend Jerry with me after work because im his ride for Tuesday's and Thursday's. We went to go pick up Pee-dro from FIU and told him that he's now officially hired. After picking up Pee-dro, we headed to MLEC because thats where I drop of my friend Jerry so that he can catch the bus. After that, I headed home and Pee-dro went to a bus stop near my house to go to his own. I received a couple of calls from some friends saying what I was up to and if I was going to go play tennis. This time around...I just said no thanks.
I realized that I've had a hectic weekend and week thus far...so...I just decided to lay back and relax. With no homework to do in mind or studying...or worrying about picking up anybody to go hang out...I just stayed home and dissipated into my own thoughts...
Today felt weird because when I have free time, I would usually go work out at the gym or go play some tennis...but not this time around.
So, yes please, just a plain old day for me with a side order of diversion from the ordinary...
