just saw fahrenheit 9/11.....

Jun 25, 2004 15:30

so i intended to wake up at 9:30 to see the 10:30 showing of it at destinta in middletown, but my alarm didnt work.... it was turned on and everything, and it just didnt work.... so i get up at 10:30, check berlin and see there's a showing for 12:20.... so i get there, get popcorn and soda, and sit down in the third row from the middle aisle thing right in the center.... after what see,ed like an ETERNITY of previews, the movie began....

now lemme tell you, i went into this movie with a hatred of bush.... after reading al franken's book, i had a strong distrust of conservatives and just republicans in general.... after sitting through this movie, after all these facts were laid out in front of me, there is no way i can ever even slightly trust this bush administration and probably most republican politicians.... after watching this movie, im eager to see the opening weekend statistics for it, because if a large enough amount of people go see this movie, guess what.... there's no way bush will win this election.... i had my doubts when the 'crats picked kerry, but after this movie, this i think is a strong deciding thing to kick the people in the right direction.... or should i say, rather, the left direction, lol....

it was amazing to see this movie with a packed house.... i'm telling you, no seats were available, and to hear the reactions from these people, i was awestruck.... this movie was intense also, all these facts coming out at you.... the connections between the bush family and friends to the saudi royals and especially the bin laden family, made COMPLETELY clear.... there is no way this guy can be trusted to be making the decisions he's making for our country based on what he thinks is "right for the people" because with all these tie-ins with the saudis and the bin ladens, he DEFINETLY must wake up thinking "what's the best for the saudis? whats the best for ME?".... this movie has turned a passive hatred of the bush admin into full-fledged unwielding hatred of this administration, and ESPECIALLY george bush.... i tell you, if he steps into connecticut, you can bet i will be at that event to protest... i will NOT go to some "designated protest area" where they keep the anti-bush protesters about 3 miles away from where he is, i will be there, right where he can see me.... screw the consequences, screw the rules, he needs to see how we are NOT for him.... i dont care what it takes, bush will not be re-elected, he CANNOT be re-elected... this country will fall to shambles and it will be BECAUSE of george bush....

this movie is a MUST-SEE.... i suggest you scrounge up money and go see it, go to an early showing so you dont have to pay as much, but go, no matter what, you MUST see this movie before election time.... it's slated to go on dvd in october, so if you dont see it in theaters (which i HIGHLY suggest you do) you should rent it before you go out and vote.... you should rent it before you make your decision to vote.... this president is perhaps the worst in recent memory, and he CANNOT be re-elected...

i DONT care who comments on this, and what they say, because these are my opinions, you cannot change my opinions, but i will allow you to STATE YOUR OPINIONS because im not a nazi-leader like bush.... has ANYONE read the patriot act? oh its a good read, it's a fiction novel about how normal everyday people can get their rights stricken away for NO REASON.... oh wait, it isnt fiction, its REAL, its non-fiction, that piece of trash act is NON-FICTION and it is the most blatent disregard of human rights ever.... they can hold without trial, they can interrogate you without the presence of a lawyer, they even define the word "terrorist" as, essentially, any person acting against the views of the government.... yep, way to through that bill of rights out the window, good job pissing on the constitution bush, why dont you wipe your ass with the declaration of independence while you're at it, you complete and utter FUCKTARD....

i'll end with a saying from an interview with bush.... "There's an old saying in tennesee... well, its from texas, but i assume it's in tennesee as well.... fool me once, uh... shame on... shame on you... but uh.... it wont happen again"
