Not A Total Waste
A bit deflated? Yeah. Bummed Out? You could say that. A total loss? Not in the least. While this would have been our airsoft team's first foray into hosting an event, it wasn't meant to be. On the plus side we were given a tour of additional land. Just shy of 50 acres to be exact by the owner of the paintball field that we airsoft on......It was nearly one of those pants shitting moments. The three of us that went out to check out the land all had that kid in a candy store look etched across our faces with the possibilities of any number of scenarios that could be played out in this vast expanse of land in true military simulation. For the geeks out there (and I know I got some on my f-list) picture going to to a con where you get to dress up or those who've taken part in live action role playing. This amounts to some of that only with the added benefit of getting shot at and possibly hit all while decked out in various military garb. Before you dismiss it as some lame testosterone driven Dude thing. Let me just say this. It's one of the best adrenaline rushes you can have. So even though we didn't get to play, the day had it's benefits. HAGO AATR
