Latest touch on base ...
Been working alot. I mean a whole lot. My schedule at work got changed due to a Senior Engineer getting canned about a week and a half ago; so now I'm stuck working his 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. schedule. Since I'm the next senior software guy in line I get volunteered to bend over and open wide. yay. fun stuff. oh well, I guess it's ok; I get paid pretty decent and I really dont do much work M-W.
Anyways, been catching up on my novella reading. Currently, my nose and cerebellum are wrapped around "The Fugitive Game". Im totally amazed and astounded at what that guy accomplished when we were still playing Atari & Pong; Kevin Mitnick was hacking & cracking some of our government's early experiments into cyberspace. Totally amazing. Too bad, he can't touch a computer; phone line; modem for the next 20 or 30 yrs I think.
Also, latest dvd's in my weekly watching encounters:
King Kong - I liked it, only because I'm totally hotts for Naomi Watts.
Stay - Awesome, wierd, but beautifully insane outlook on moments before death. Another Naomi Watts flick. Yummay.
RENT - Watched about the first three minutes and figured out that the dvd was totally not what I expected.
You Can't Fix Stupid - That country guy is one hilarious comodian. I think his name is Ron something; he's an Arlington native.
2001 Maniacs - Like OMG, stupid flick. Interesting story but totally bogus.
H.P. Lovecraft's - The Witch of Dreams (or something titled like that) - Very cool horror flick. Enjoyed.
That's about all for now. This Saturday ... my dad's & bro's bday party at my Rent's hizzouse. Gonna be some good ol cake & ice cream galore.
