Icon community idea.
I had an idea for an icon challenge community, similiar to iconfiend100. Tell me whatcha think?
The idea is a color-challenge community. Ie, you pick your favorite color, pick a subject (anything: movies, tv, music videos, manga, anime, whatever), and make 50 icons that have that particular coloring style (via solid colors, gradients, etc. The majority of the icon must contain one particular color).
For example:
- Blue
- Purple
- Uh... bronze-ish?
25 of those will be theme challenges, the other 25 free choice.
I say 50 instead of 100 because... well, it's coloring. There's only so much you can do before you get sick of a color. (Like I'm one to talk with my green obsession.)
I'm thinking of calling it Colorific50 or something. (If you can think of a better name, lemme know.)
Anyway, it's either a really fun idea or a really stupid idea. As most of my ideas tend to be. It's hard for me to tell the difference.
