What REALLY happened to the Goonies:
so, I watched the Goonies last night.. and I was wondering, "this movie was made 21 years ago, so where would the Goonies be now?" so here's what happened to them all:
Mikey: Travels from place to place to save towns from land-developers, learns of emminent domain, and government plans to buy-up property of the poor. This time the Goonies must save the entire America from becoming a golf-course (metaphorically speaking)
Mouth: Becomes a fast-talking preacher, now with Mid-western accent (like in Fargo), that he picked up from his foster family in Utah, after his dad dissappeared after a run-in with worker-unions (mob-suspicions). Tries to locate his missing dad, while warning people of government conspiracies.
Later teams up with Jake Fratelli.
Brand: Becomes a personal trainer, philosopher, and ecologist. Encourages organic farming.
Andy: Published an organic cook-book, married Brand. Makes jams and fruit-preserves. Can bake bread without using yeast.
Discourages the use of dairy.
Steph: Became an actress and changed her name to Martha Plimpton. Lives in New-York.
Teaches acting to inner-city children. Returns to Goon Docks to help fight the new "Fratellis" (NWO). Tries to use her acting status to show how she thinks 9/11 was an inside-job.
Chunk: Became a conceited male-model and changed his name to Romanio. Then goes through a spiritual awakening after hearing of Sloth's passing-away.
Data: After one of his robots killed another one of his robots, he was devastated. Fed up with technology, he became a horse-trainer.
Sloth: Died of broken heart, after being robbed by Russian mail-order bride.
Mama Fratelli: Deceased/old-age. Sloth used to visit her in prison.
Jake Fratelli: Swore to attack Goonies once out of prison, but then saw tv-movie based on their adventures, saw the error of his ways and became a policeman, working his way up to homocide detective.
Francis Fratelli: Once out of prison, used some stolen loot to buy scrapyard that turns out to be haunted by one of One-Eyed-Willy's escaped pirates.
One-Eyed-Willy: Had a run-in with the flying Dutchman, then visited Mikey in a dream to warn him that the Spanish King, who Willy had stolen from, was part of a government conspiracy to take over the world's banks.
Rosalita: Bought stocks in Microsoft at behest of her son Miguel, back in 1985, with treasure the Walshes shared with her. Current mayor of Goon Docks.
Mikey's parents: Disowned son after his adventures became 'too much'. Then later regretted it and now helps him do research on the hidden history of the world.
