reflection
why do we call it reflection? because you are looking at yourself. but in what way? you can never see the truth, not even when it is stareing right back at you. your judgements will always be bias, you will never see yourself for the person that you truly are. you will see the bad things you have done the lies you have told the people you have hurt. you will see the things that people have said to you, you will see what you want to see or you will see the thing that scares you the most. you cant cahnge this, it is inevitable. it doesnt matter what kind of eyes you use to look at yourself, it doesnt matter how clean you think the mirror is, these things will always be there. there are things that have happened to all of us, things that we can not change, some things that we cant even explain. but all these things make up who we are, why we are the way we are. why cant we see them? is this some kind of cosmic joke? is this some firewall built into the human condition? i dont have the answers. i dont know the truth. how can you fix what you dont know is wrong? why can we see the symptoms and not the disease? are we/ am i just supposed to lay it all out on the table? roll the dice and take my chances? bare my soul to the world and hope that it doesnt come back to bite me in the ass? should i leave good enough alone? i need answers damn it!!!! i know there is something wrong with me. why oh why cant i fix myself?
