Updates. My, my, it's been a while since I posted. I will blame my 5-class schedule, the parenting thing, and up until now, my job.
So, not to bury the lede: I quit the Kmart gig. I realized that a) if I worked another Valentine's Day at the mart, I would kill someone; and b) more importantly, I would flunk out of school. I called into work with the lamest excuse ever (I am sick. Cough. Can't work all weekend.) and now I am waiting for them to fire me, so I can collect unemployment.
I feel kind of freaked and panicked. I am not normally without work.. But I cannot goddamn take the Mart anymore, and the lack of study time is affecting me badly.
Crash update: during reading group, Crash correctly defined the word spectacles. And then he told the class he knew a word that rhymed with spectacles!
