She's beautiful...j-just like an...angel!!

First thing: our school library has Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs...which I am now watching! I'm so happy! It's such a good film! I'm excited!

Second thing: I got my big sis yesterday! My first choice wasn't allowed to take a little, but I got Kaycee! I was so nervous that I wasn't going to get anyone...or that no one would want me...but lo and behold! I also didn't think Kaycee was allowed to take a little since she's one of our new member coordinators but I put her down anyway. We did a fun thing for Big Sis Revealing! There were a pile of shoes in the hallway and each of them had each of the pledge's names on them. In the chapter room was a sheet hanging across the back and the Bigs had one of their feet out, to match the shoe with. We matched shoes, then waited while the other girls sang and chanted, and then told us to pull down the sheet! There was such an uproar of screams and cheers. It was so funny! I was so surprised! I didn't think I would get Kaycee whatsoever...more just hoped. So needless to say I was so excited! I think I hugged that girl about 5 times in the first two minutes! She gave me a new shirt (well, an old shirt...Fall 2007 Bid Day shirt) and a cute decorated jar filled with licorish and another ONE POUND bag of Red Vines!! We took about a billion pictures. I was smiling so much that my mouth was trembling in the pictures!

Kaycee introduced me to my Grand Big, Kathleen (Kaycee's big) and told me that I had a twin! Alyssa is my twin (Kaycee's first little). I'm so excited! Funny thing is, I'm older than both my big and my twin! I'm older than Kaycee by about three months! It's so funny. That was one of the first things she told Kathleen. Anyway, Kaycee took me out to dinner with the whole family (Kathleen and Alyssa) at Buffalo Wild Wings, where I've never been, and another couple of Pi Phi families! It took forever to get our food, but it was so much fun! I was so tired by the time I got back that I just put my stuff away, got ready for school/track and went to bed.

It sucks not living in Mountain View this year because I'm away from all my Pi Phi sisters. If I lived in I would totally be able to see them all the time! It would make it easier. But I'm crossing my fingers for next year, even though those rooms are SO small!! I wonder who my roommate will be?

Last track meet of the indoor season today! I'm excited and nervous. I have to qualify tonight or I don't go to Idaho. I really want to go, too!! Since I went last year, I just know how much fun it was and how much bonding it gave us. I want to go. But to do that I have to focus and just run some good races. I'm ready to go out and beat people. I can beat my 200 heat. I can beat my 55 heat. I just have to go do it.

The Light in the Piazza is my newest show that I've gotten into. One of my sorority sisters is a HUGE LitP fan, so we've been talking about it. I have to actually have lunch or something with her so we can really talk about it! I wrote her one of the longest messages ever on facebook about LitP and musicals in general. Piazza is absolutly stunning. The music is beautiful and classic and the singing is fantastic. But my favorite part of the entire show is Katie Rose Clarke as Clara. She's not been the only Clara to be in it, but she is the first (and only so far) who I've seen acting in it and her voice is absolutly phenomenal. I can't believe so much passion can come out of one person. She is one of only two actors I've seen who absolutely transform into the character. When she's onstage, I'm not watching Katie Rose Clarke. I'm watching Clara Johnson, this beautiful 26-year-old American with the mind of a 10-year-old. She's stunning. The only other person who I've seen acting like that is Caissie Levy as Elphaba in the Los Angeles production of "Wicked".

So I figured out I have to shower around 3:30 to leave me enough time to get ready and set for track. Not that that pertains to anything here...

All right! That's a brief update on my life! :)

As the back of my shirt says: "Peace, Love, and PI PHI!"

Have a wonderful day, everyone!
