Ooooh! She bit her dog, eh?
While I was in the shower today after my track meet, some random things were going through my head...and all of a sudden, I knew what Miss Gulch said to Uncle Henry in the beginning of "The Wizard of Oz". When she comes riding on her bicycle to the Gale's house to get Toto, she confronts Uncle Henry. Here is their conversation:
"Mr. Gale!"
"Well, howdy, Miss Gulch."
"I'd like to speak to you and your wife right away about Dorothy."
"Dorothy? Well, what has Dorothy done?"
And this next line, I NEVER knew what Miss Gulch answered...until today!
"What's she done?? I'm all but lame from the bite on my leg."
And then they continue.
"You mean she bit ya?"
"No. Her dog."
"Oooh! She bit her dog, eh?"
I've been watching The Wizard of Oz since I was probably born...but I never understood or heard that line. I don't know what made me think of it. But I just did. How weird is that?? After 20 years of watching that movie...
Anyway. That's all!
I'm going to see Enchanted tonight! That will make my day better!
